Paul Andersson (Lithuania-Denmark), one of the most prominent pianists of the younger generation, will present a romantic program at the piano music recital. We will hear the best opuses of M. K. Čiurlionis as well as his contemporaries S. Rachmaninov, J. Vitols, N. Medtner, A. Skriabin and opuses of F. Chopin whose music influenced works of these composers.

The young star Justė Vingytė is participating at the concert.

Marathon of Young Talents

A open-air marathon on the terrace of the Tiškevičiai Palace, where young musicians-instrumentalists and singers will come not only from different cities of Lithuania but also from foreign countries.

FESTIVAL OPENING CONCERT DEDICATED TO EDUARDAS BALSYS 100th BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

The 7th International M. Čiurlionis Music Festival will be solemnly opened by the National M. K. Čiurlionis Art School Orchestra (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Martynas Staškus) conducted by Mantas Juozas Jauniškis and the young soloists Leva Voronovaitė (violin), Pijus Česaitis (violin). 
On the State Day at 21.00, traditionally we will sing the National Song.

The young pianist Eloisa Cascio (Italy) and string quartet (Ingrida Rupaitė, violin; Teodora Stair, violin; Auksė Kaziukaitienė, viola; Kornelija Kupšytė, cello) are meeting on the stage.
Eloisa Cascio is a famous, active concert pianist from Italy who studied the harpsichord and composition art.

The young stars Akvilė Rimkutė and Paulina Šatkauskaitė are participating at the concert.
